Just like on it’s American counterpart Shark Tank, Dragon’s Den is a hit Canadian television show where entrepreneurs come from across the country for their chance to pitch their inventions or business ideas to five business tycoons. The goal is to get these tycoons revved up about your idea for the chance to win money, contacts, and the  tycoons’ guidance and expertise.

 

The Astone team showed up on the set ready to fight with crates of fun gadgets, tricks, and demonstrating fitness athletes. The show’s producers have said that they believe Astone’s episode is the most exciting episode this season. 

 

Astone’s goal is to expand it’s already profitable million dollar business into a $5 to $10 million dollar international business. 

 

Astone Fitness pitches to the Dragons on the Sunday, January 13th episode on CBC.

On May 10, 2012 Astone Fitness and The Human Trainer came face to face with CBC’s Dragons. We brought all our weapons with us, including the entire Human Trainer family, our team, and our impenetrable bullet-proof rack. We have finished filming and it is planning to air this Fall Season.

Hold on, what’s Dragon’s Den?

The Human TrainerDragons’ Den, similar to Shark Tank, is a Canadian television show (yes, we are Canadian!) where entrepreneurs and businesses present their ideas to a panel of venture capitalists. Ideas range from granola, electronics, to community programs. We’ll be facing Jim Treliving (co-owner of Boston Pizza and Mr. Lube), Arlene Dickinson (owner of Venture Communications), Kevin O’Leary (co-host on CBC, former president of The Learning Company), David Chilton (author, owner of a financial planning business and a publishing company ), and Bruce Croxon (founder of Lavalife and owner of Vida Wellness Spas). We’re looking to show the world what we’ve got. We stand behind all our products and it’s time The Human Trainer takes centre stage.
