Astone Fitness was ready for a big day of working out and having fun. Our “Show us your best workout face contest” was a success as we had many people using The Human Trainer and giving us their best expressions. Our trade booth was a big hit as we had many people stopping to look and test out our products.  The many accessories of The Human Trainer were a real eye catcher. The Olympic Rings, Rotational Pulley, Ab Straps and our unique Human Trainer Rack made for a fun and exciting first day.

Some highlights were :

  • 3 young kids aged from 6-12 playing and exercising on The Human Trainer rack and the products. Impressive when 8 years olds can do pull-ups and core exercises.
  • Darren Shane’s 100 consecutive pushup challenge (followed by a Tiger Balm shoulder rub)
  • Some great photos for the “Show us your best workout face contest”

There were many other great moments for Day 1 of the Fitness Trade show. Tomorrow the show will be open to the public and the guest speaker is Richard Simmons. Tomorrow will surely be another eventful day…

We arrived at 10am in a sea of boxes to discover our electric drill was screwed into our wooden crate and spent an hour manually un-corking it. There was a certain buzz going around as everyone was watching each other set up and discovering what we all had. Putting our blood sweat and tears into this setup we finally had it finished for 6pm.

CanFitPro Booth for Astone FitnessNotable moments were putting together the kiosk without directions or a manual using the wrong screws everywhere and having to redo it about 3 times, finally looks right. After winning the battle of the kiosk we celebrated our victory with lunch. By the end everything came together famously and pictures will be uploaded shortly. Off to the Argos game we go…..

Show Us Your Best Workout Face Contest

We will be at the International Fitness and Club Business Conference and Trade Show by CanFitPro. This year, it will take place from August 17 to 21 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Stop by our booth to meet the founders of Astone Fitness and test out the Human Trainer suspension gym and all our Astone Fitness products. But most of all, you can win $250 of Astone Fitness Gear (online store)!

 

Here’s how to enter:

  1. Like our Facebook Page
  2. Stop by our booth (#1726) and take a photo of you using the Human Trainer or any Astone Fitness product. The best workout face wins, so we want to see some enthusiasm!
  3. Tag yourself in the photo on Facebook. We’ll upload all the photos daily (Aug. 17-21), so check our page often to see if your photo is up.

At the end of the conference, we will choose the person with the best workout face. You must be tagged in your photo by Aug. 30 in order to be eligible to win. The winner will be messaged through Facebook on August 30, 2011.  Make sure you check back often and check your privacy settings so that we can message you!
